Lisa M. Bettio practices physical therapy with a specialty in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports training, and conditioning at SouthCoast Health’s Savannah Physical Therapy office. She received a Masters in Public Health and Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, and a MSRPT from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She is board certified by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Savannah magazine named her Best Physical Therapist in their “Best of Savannah” 2014 issue.
“I wanted to become a physical therapist to help improve the quality of life for individuals in need.”
Bettio says her interest in the anatomy and biomechanics of the body and a calling to teach and practice medicine lead her to a career in physical therapy. Seeing her patients get back to their normal lives following treatment is the most rewarding part of her job, she says.
When not providing care for her patients, Bettio enjoys working out, playing tennis, completing home renovations, and cheering for the Buckeyes!
