He started private practice in 1979 joining his father Dr. Jules Victor Junior, a beloved and well-respected member of Savannah’s Medical Community for over sixty years. Dr. Jules Victor III continued in his father’s footsteps of service to the Savannah community-serving as Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine of St. Joseph’s, and also as President of the Medical Staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, just as his father had before him. He was one of the five founding members of SouthCoast Medical Group and was appointed the Medical Director for SouthCoast.
