SouthCoast Health is pleased to announce that Dr. Firas Bannout won best family physician in the Coastal Courier‘s 2018 Best of Liberty Awards. For eight consecutive years, Dr. Bannout has been voted the Best Family Physician in Liberty County. This award is based on the votes of community members.
Dr. Bannout is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bannout earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Damascus University School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria and completed his residency at Wright State University, in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Bannout specializes in internal medicine and is an active member of several medical societies such as the American College of Physicians, Georgia Medical Society, and the Medical Association of Georgia.
